Studio Zuiver was born from culture, not from trends.

We grew up surrounded by subcultures: places where creativity reigned supreme. Graffiti. Rap. Tattoos. Theater. Fashion. Hip-hop! Forms of expression that didn't seek approval, but space.

We found that space in tattoos & streetwear. During Frans's studies in Art & Economics at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, the launch of his own label "REDEEM," and his internship at Freshcotton (Baskèts), he learned how culture and commerce can reinforce each other. Or destroy each other. Over the past twelve years, Leonie has learned all about tattooing in the various shops where she worked. During this time, there are things she takes with her, and also things she herself wanted to change.

Leonie and Frans have both lived in Zeist/Driebergen for most of their lives. And something was missing there.

No place that goes beyond one discipline. No studio where you can get a tattoo and find sneakers at the same time. Both general and exclusive sneakers, but also experience art. And above all: you can simply walk in without any barriers.

Studio Zuiver is that place. No dark hole. No attitude. No arrogance.
